Learn to recognize patterns and combinations of symptoms that may indicate that you are or may soon be having a manic or depressive episode. Inform your health care provider and loved ones when you feel your symptoms increasing and ask them to observe your behavior.
Make time in your life for things that are fun. Make a list of activities you like and sure you have at least a little time each day for doing something you enjoy. Consider couples therapy, where feelings and fears can be expressed in a safe manner.
